ExactDupe is provided as a general-purpose duplicate file reporting utility. You are responsible for reviewing results and deciding whether any copy should be removed.

A duplicate can be intentional. Backups, synced folders and application data may contain identical files by design. ExactDupe does not automatically delete or modify files.

The service is provided without a guarantee that every browser or filesystem exposes identical metadata or file-selection behavior.
